However, I've seen my share of Wedding websites, and I really wanted to find something a little more unique than the average site. The trick to this was that I'd never actually created a website at all, so it had to be pretty easy to use...
So we looked at all the standard websites - weddingwire, mywedding.com, theknot...but everything looked pretty standard. Then, somewhere on a top 10 list of most aesthetically pleasing website hosts (or something like that), I found Jux.
So, I give you, our website:
After I had spent weeks doing research and then creating the website, I then received this in my inbox:
I was so disappointed. All that work, and for nothing! Back to the drawing board...
Around this time, Weddingbee offered a promo code for AppyCouple. I liked the idea of this program - easy to use from your phone, provides ways to keep your planning and contact with people streamlined, some pretty cute designs...after all my research, I decided this was the next best thing, so I pulled the trigger on it.
I started inputting all my information, but it still didn't have the format that I loved so much with Jux. I was considering making a THIRD website, but even when I looked - I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.
And then...another e-mail in my inbox:
So since then, I have yet to update AppyCouple. We have stuck with Jux - and really, really like it. In the future, I may use it to store and share my digital photo files, since its resolution is so high (thus pretty). However, we may still use AppyCouple to keep track of RSVPs and contact our guests, so...stay tuned!
And in the meantime...take a look around our website on Jux, especially if you're looking for some Disney tips :)
