I'm sure there are plenty of life scenarios where both of those things coincide, but a wedding really seems like the ultimate combination of happiness and beauty. I don't mean just personal physical beauty (although that contributes!) but the beauty of the setting and environment. For better or for worse, the wedding business empire--as well as websites like Pinterest and the zillion wedding websites that are out there--have raised the bar for what we want these important, emotional days to look and feel like.
And the two affect each other -- the happier you are, the more beautiful you will inevitably look; and the prettier you feel and the more beautiful your surroundings are, the happier you will be!
I've thought about doing a wedding blog for a while now (I've been engaged for about 6 months), but thought, "Oh--it's just one more thing, and for what purpose?" Upon further reflection, though, I realized that a wedding blog is like a microcosm of the day itself: I get to write about something that makes me insanely happy, in an aesthetically pleasing way! Why wouldn't I do it?
So really, I was just in denial for a long time...it's time guys. It's time to start the wedding blog.
Ready. . . and . . .
GO!
