My heart started to go pitter patter. I private-messaged her, asking if she was legitimately interested in selling. She had also posted pictures of herself in the dress, and she looked to be about the same size as me! I tried not to get my hopes up, though...this was a stranger on the internet, after all.
Mr. Llama - just to be safe, stop reading now. I love you, but scram! Image via CanadaMats.ca So, when I left off, I had posted on a Weddingbee thread that I was looking for Hayley Paige's 'Guindon.' Soon after, another bride posted that she had indeed purchased Guindon, and was potentially interested in selling.

So in my last post, I found a 'used' (actually new, but pre-owned, I should say!) dress that was pretty darn perfect. But since I'm determined to be 100% sure in my decision, I kept shopping! Image via KeepCalmandCarryOn.com If you were to look at my Pinterest board of "Dresses I Want to Try On," you would see mostly fitted, lace gowns with straps. However, in my Pinterest surfing shortly after becoming engaged, I found one dress, by a designer I had never heard of, that intrigued me a lot. It was definitely a case of "One of these things is not like the others."
MR. LLAMA - TIME TO GO AWAY AGAIN! One day, when out to brunch with some of my House Party ladies, we realized we had a little extra time on our hands, so we headed to Macy's on a last minute dress-shopping appointment. Bridesmaid 'K' and House Party gal 'A' got to come with me - which worked out well, because they had not been available for any of the other dress trips, and I definitely wanted their input.
