If you know me, you already know this, but...we're getting married at Disney World.
You guys, I can't even explain how excited we are that this is actually happening. However, while we're both Disney fanatics, you won't be seeing a princess-y, tiara-wearing, horse-drawn carriage-riding, Mickey-and-Minnie-attended wedding. Nope nope nope.
If you've ever seen pictures of a Disney wedding, you've likely seen The Wedding Pavilion, While stunning, this chapel-like setting just didn't feel much like us.
Despite getting married in the dead of summer in Orlando, we did love the idea of having an outdoor ceremony. Since we don't imagine having a very lengthy ceremony, we aren't too concerned. Our guests will live. I promise. There is no dress code. I'll provide fans and water. Pinky-swear.
Our first stop was Sea Breeze Point, located along Disney's Boardwalk (A HA! A clue into my blog name! Nice work, gumshoe.)
However, across the lake is another outdoor space that can accommodate more guests.
So, maybe I didn't visit 20,000 venues. But I did find that one that was right for us, so I stopped looking. Plus, the proximity of the Yacht Club Gazebo to our preferred reception space could not be beat...
