We will likely go through the woman who designed my engagement ring, but before we made a formal appointment with her, we figured we'd do some browsing at our local jewelry store, Sandberg Jewelers.
Wait, backup. Obviously, before we did any of that, I pinned away on Pinterest! Duh.
My only concern with this design was that it would overpower my engagement ring. I wanted my band to be a little bit different, wearable on its own, but thin enough that my center stone remains the centerpiece. I'm not sure if this can be made thin enough to check all those proverbial boxes.
Then I found this little guy, from the same designer:
Oh - and there's no way we're spending the kind of money these links show. Nuh uh. So our choice will also be very much dictated by THAT.
So, off we went to go browse!
First, Mr. Llama tried on a few rings. We chose this one as the favorite pretty quickly:
Then we moved on to my rings...I showed our friend what I wanted, and she brought out a few options.
I sound like a broken record...but also, it'd be skinnier :)
We probably really need to get on this though, right? If I'm going to have to get it custom ordered through Jamie at Chicago Diamond Center, who made my e-ring, this needs to move to the top of my to-do list...which is getting a little long...
What do you think, hive? What's your favorite? Or do you even have other suggestions?
